so last night/early this morning we decided to have a life and do something with our friday rather than just sit in wonton and eddie’s room
Aishan, Jessica, Chelsea, David, and I went over to Aishan’s house to bake cupcakes! We used Nutella for frosting. YUM.
Then we went back to campus and had dinner with the other guys, followed by a game of frisbee! I actually played this time and attempted to throw/catch.
When it got dark we went back inside and ate the cupcakes. Then we got bored and David, Aishan, Chelsea, and I went back outside.
This time we went to the mall and practiced our frisbee/longboard skills. Oh my gosh, riding the longboard is so much fun. Once I got over my fear of moving without anything to hold onto (plus I was afraid the board would just slide out from beneath me), it was pretty fun. I was going at zombie speed compared to the other people, and I couldn’t really turn, but I think I made great progress. I also got better at catching the frisbee! Throwing, not so much. It’s still very wobbly.
Then we returned to the dorm once more and decided to go down to the lounge to play card games with everyone. We started with spoons (or pens), followed by an intense game of E.R.S. that resulted in several casualties (myself included—all because of Victor’s fingernails), plus B.S. and Old Maid, I think?
And then we went on a half-past-midnight Taco Shop run and some of us got breakfast burritos. I kind of regret not getting one now because I’m kind of hungry.
Upon returning we wound up in David’s room, where we sat in the dark, listened to Victor’s attempt at a ghost story, and just talked.
Then we turned the lights on again and (this is random but here it goes) Eddie yanked out several of my white hairs. I’M GOING GRAY, IDK WHY. I’M TOO YOUNG FOR THIS.
And now it’s two in the morning and I’m still awake despite waking up at 6:45 for my English final.
