so you were never a saint

So today I went to the Ballroom Dance Club and it was awesome! I had a blast. They taught us the waltz and the rumba. Thanks to my seven-ish years of ballet training, the steps weren’t too difficult for me to grasp. (Except for the hip movements when it came to rumba. Actually, I should be good at this too since I did the hula when I was younger and lived in Hawaii. But I’m not.) 

The only downside was the shortage of tall, good-looking males. Of course. But two of the guys I danced with were from Poland, which was pretty cool to me. Haha. 

I’ll be back on the dance floor (which is actually a gym) on Wednesday to learn the foxtrot and swing. And then Thursday there’s a meeting for people who want to be on the team…I am seriously considering doing this. Hmmm. 

And now I really want to buy a pair of ballroom dance shoes so I can look the part. Lol.
